Trimming The Tree

We get the same decorations out every year, the ones that were made all those years ago, and have a jolly good laugh.

Anyone For Turkey?

With the last lecture out of the way, the table groaning with food, tree sparkling in the background, Friday night was Christmas dinner time.

Got to have crackers!

Sweetness

I love home-made.

The Gospel Choir Christmas Concert

The Chapel was decked with holly and ivy, poinsettias stood in every alcove, we donned our red, silver and gold and sang and sang.
Enjoying every moment of what we'd worked so hard in the term to produce.
 We swayed,
 and clicked,
and clapped.

It Will Soon Be Christmas

 Paper chains are being compared.
 Paper snowflakes cut.
Even a star for the top of the tree (thanks to tin foil and an old cereal packet).
The festive season has begun.

Real Snow

Finally it's here! Proper, ground covering, cheek roseying, sound muffling snow!
How very Brittish.
Pictures like that really ought to be large.
Maybe not this one though - bit chilly?!
Simply stunning.

The First

Today is December 1st. I can finally open my Christmas box. My cousin arrived with it on Sunday and forbade me from opening it before December. She gave one to me last year but this time she truly surpassed herself with the care and thoughtfulness she had put into it. It had everything a student could want at Christmas.

I honestly have the best family in the world.
