Far Too Quiet

Well the boys have left me for the weekend and all or a sudden it's far too quiet. So of course the only thing that can fill such a void is baking:

It also provided an excellent opportunity to put my sister's house warming present to very good use; I feel so lovely and twee.

The Merriment Of Friendship

It's my housemate's birthday and much to my pleasure she requested a take away and games night and so following a slight cheating episode during 221b Baker Street (a game I highly recommend that you buy) tensions began to run high during Taboo.
It may have been sensible to consider the highly competetive disposition of one of our guests before committing to this, but after playing Werewolf and drinking wine until the early hours of the morning a merry time was had by all.

A Moment Of Calm

Why am I starting to feel like thier mother?

Room for one more?

Things are falling back into place beautifully. It's a bit crazy this week as two of my friends haven't got thier house yet so there's three of us squished into my room (plus the hamster of course!) and then today one more of thier housemates popped over for dinner but he ended up needing somewhere to stay too so we all decided to get cosy. As you can see some nights out have also been enjoyed.

Apple Pie and Rabbit Stew

One of the things I love about being back at Uni is that I am now so near to my sister again, so I can always pop and visit her. Suday's are always a good day to visit for her and her husband's excelllennntt dinners. This week's visit was particularly busy. We bought my new pet hamster Franklin:
 Then we made apple pie:
(I should probably point out that my sister's 6 month's pregnant and that she hasn't just had a really big lunch!)

And then we went to meet next door's new ducks:
(quack quack quack)

The Return

As the planes from Goodwood looped the loop above us, we assessed the damage. It was with a slight feeling of melocholy that I left the complete safety of home once again, but there is always that lure of another adventure waiting to begin. (Plus I did break the hoover yesterday)
